Cherry Point EMS/Fire Facilities

        GFBA provided civil engineering and landscape architecture services as part of a design/build team selected by Naval Facilities - Mid-Atlantic for a 5-bay, 16,211 square foot EMS/Fire Vehicle Facility at MCAS Cherry Point. The facility was placed into operation in early 2012 to provide improved emergency services for the base. 

   PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
 

  • Compliance with US Government project delivery procedures.

  • LEED® Gold Certification

  • Incorporation of Anti-Terrorism Force Protection (ATFP) measures in accordance with UFC 4-010-01.

  • Use of bio-retention as a major component of the site design to comply with Low Impact Development (LID) and NC DENR water quality requirements.
